A. Galvanised wire mesh.
Q. How long does it take to make a standard wire sculpture?
A. The construction time of a seated sculpture with hair, is approximately 55- 60 hours, although clothed pieces can take up to 120 hours.
Q. How long can I expect a wire sculpture to last?
A. As the wire is galvanised, the manufacturer estimates a 15 year life span, before it starts to show any signs of rusting.
Note: To ensure the sculptures longevity, when each piece is completed, it undergoes an air brushing process with Zinc rust repellent spay.
